Do You Think 2012 Will Happen?

I am a per

I'm just thinking cuz you adults make this global warming and if it does happen then people who like 13 or younger have to live with the consequences.

Thanks x

Answer
Oh yeah? Do you use electricity every day? Do you eat fast food? (Does it make itself?) Do you have toys, including electronic toys? Do you have any idea how much energy it takes to make them? Have you EVER bothered to look it up? You're obviously using the Web. You have a computer and a broadband connection. "You adults." Kids are just as guilty, sweetheart. At least "we adults" admit to it. You buggers think you're saints. Ha.

Where are good ideas for Christmas present for kids?

I have 4 neices/nephews from 3 to 10. Where's a good place to get ideas for gifts for Christmas? And is it better to buy online or fight the lines of Black Friday?

Answer
There are many lists put out by different toy stores, kids magazines, etc.

There is the Toys R Us Fabulous 15:
http://www.santaschristmascorner.com/toys-r-us-fabulous-15-toys-r-us-2012-holiday-hot-toy-list/

Also, K-Mart has it's own Fab 15 list:
http://www.santaschristmascorner.com/k-mart-top-15-christmas-toys-for-2012-part-1/

There are others, but I don't know the URLs off the top of my head.

As far as online vs black friday, I personally shop online. One, I don't like to get up early. Two, I don't like being trampled by people trying to get the 3 TVs for the special price. And Three, you will usually find bargains just as good or nearly as good online if you keep your eyes open.

How long would it take santa to deliver presents to children in america?

Jack Frost

Now, before you make fun of me for even asking this, I of course know there isn't such a thing (my parents never even raised me to believe there was). But, mathematically speaking, how long do you think it would take such a person to deliver presents to children ONLY in America. Seeing as there is about 73.7 MILLION children ages 0-17 in america in 2012, and estimating that there are 2.5 children per household. what do you think?
and logical answers please! i just really want to see the mathematical version of the answer, not just magic :]

Answer
Well, what do you think...twenty minutes per household with kids? According to your statistics there should be about 29.48 million households with kids. So. 29.48 million times 20....589.6 million minutes total. That works out to 9,826,666 hours and twenty minutes, or 409,444.44 days, or about 1121 years. (But there are of course numerous factors I did not account for...traffic, weather, does Santa need to do more than one trip because all the toys do not fit in the sled at once...?)

I think all of the star wars movies are great, but what happens after Luke save the galaxy?? Some people would like to know. I have read stories of him and Leia getting getting married and having kids but i don't like to read books i want to watch it in a action film.

Answer
Unfortunately no amount of "waiting, or kicking back, or being patient" will change the facts. The fact is that there will NOT be anymore live action Star Wars movies ... anyone who says differently is so full of it that it is pouring out of their ears. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the book series come out in an animated form, doubt it will be to theaters more likely direct to DVD things, but there will not be anymore live action movies.

We all know that Lucas has the ability to change his mind with the direction of the wind but in this case I think we can believe him. In the years since the release of ep III Lucas has been asked two questions over and over and over and over again ... first, will he ever make anymore Star Wars movies and will he allow someone else to pick up where he left off. For the past four years the answer to those two questions has never changed ... NO ... and ... NO ... that's about as close to written in stone as you can get from Lucas. It only came to light last year but shortly after the release of ep III Lucas made a "minor" change to his Will. Everybody still gets all the same "stuff" BUT it has a condition to it now ... if any one of them ever allows anyone to make more movies or remake the ones already done everybody looses everything. We are talking millions and millions of dollars here ... do you really think they will risk it ... neither do I.

I do have to say that this is the first time I've ever seen anybody "witching" about Luke and Mara getting married ... personally I thought they were the perfect couple.

The future of Star Wars is animation ... the current series is running full steam ahead and will be around for a long time ... the live action TV series set in between ep III and ep IV is on track to debut in the fall of 2010 ... Lucas is still looking at the target date of 2012 to bring all 6 movies back to theaters in a true 3-D format. There's a ton of stuff that will be going on in the Star Wars world but none of that stuff will be new movies ... ticks me off too but George owns it all lock stock and barrel and what he says goes.

May The Force Be With You ...

EDIT: To "Boba Fett": Not really ... lol ... keeps my point total up. Now the "reboot" Star Wars questions ... hell hath no fury like an old school fan having his memories messed with ...

EDIT 2: Unless Lucas changes his mind ... then I'll be just another idiot who took him at his word and got hosed again ... I think might have to grab my toy lightsabres and go have a "talk" with the man if he does that ... lol ... but only after he's done making the new movies of course.

.

Michael Bay is making a new live action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles scheduled for a 2012 release. Do you think it will be a sequel or a remake? I'm super excited! I love TMNT, I have all the movies, I collected the toys as a kid. I still watch the new cartoons on Saturday morning cartoons! Who's ready for more TMNT?

my cousin is going to kindergarden next year ( 2012) and we were wondering, can she bring a pillow pet, blancket, with her when she sleeps? what can we do to help her get ready for school? she is 3 almost 4 in a month and 2 days. thank you! if u have any other advice, please tell me! Thank you!

Answer
Check with your school's policy.

I would bring a blanket (nothing new, old blankets from home can be comforting), a stuffed animal for comfort (again from home), and a small healthy snack. Also, a good sturdy container for drinks. Some good choices would be:

-Apple
-Banana
-Carrots and dip
-Apple juice
-Orange
-Grapes
-Blueberries
-Orange juice
-Milk or chocolate milk

Also, as a friendly reminder, if you must by new products, try buying organic or eco-friendly. Many hidden toxins are present in toys that you don't know about it. Here's a good site with cute blankets and the best stuffed animals :)

Am I wrong for kicking my son out of the house for being homosexual ?

Everette

I didn't raise him to be this way , he did not play with this girl toys as a kid I believe this is something that has just sprang up !
First of all I am his father and yes I believe he chose this behavior to try and hurt our family !

Answer
Sorry to be so blunt, but you did your son a big favor by kicking him out of the house. I can only imagine how he suffered growing up and having to keep his true nature concealed from the people who are supposed to love him the most - his family.

What makes you think he CHOSE this behavior? Have you even tried to understand the science on homosexuality? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/12/why-are-there-gay-men_n_1590501.html?utm_hp_ref=sex

You are seriously narcissistic if you think he "chose" this behavior to hurt the rest of the family. It's not about YOU!

And how would it "hurt" the family? Is your family so dysfunctional and weak that they would be "hurt" by the cruel opinions of pinheads? You seriously need to re-think what is important in your life.

The loss is yours.

Are their new airport security rules for kids?

F

R their any new rules for kids under 13 for security since 2012. Do they have to give all kids a pat down?? I'll be in detroit metro airport.

Answer
Children 12 and under can leave their shoes on during screening.
TSA will not ask travelers to do anything that will separate them from their child.
Passengers cannot leave babies in an infant carrier and attempt to put it through the X-ray machine. Babies should be carried through a walk through metal detector by a parent or guardian.
All carry-on baggage, including children's toys, bags and items, will be screened. Please let your child know that their blanket, favorite stuffed animal or toy will have to go through the X-ray machine and then will be returned to them.
All child-related equipment that can fit through the X-ray machine should go through the X-ray machine. Examples include: strollers, umbrella-strollers, baby carriers, car and booster seats, backpacks, and baby slings.
