AARRGGG!!! Shut your kid up.?

honk2goose

I can not go anywhere outside of my house without having to put up with someone's misbehaving child. Why should I have to tolerate screaming, yelling, and crying from someone else's kid. We need places that are deemed kid-free. Maybe then I go to the theatre and can watch a damned R rated movie at 11:00 at night without someone's cranky toddler interrupting it. Perhaps even shop without having to tune out the whining kid whose parent won't buy them a toy they want. Control your kids!!
Parents....it is your fault they act this way. Plus, why is there a kid at the movie theater that late. At that point, it is your fault, not thiers that they are crying. They should be in bed.
No more comments about when I have kids. I don't want them and will not have them. My boyfreind is getting a vasectomy. No comments about this either, we ARE getting married, and are old enough to know what we want. 24 and 30.

Try to look at this from my point of view:

(This really happened about a month ago)

I am a stay at home mom of three sweet kids ages 7, 3, and 2 months. My husband works long hours and I'm usually stuck at home all day with the kids because we only have one car. To top it off, baby #3 was a C-section, so I'm just recovering from surgery. One day I decide to drop my husband off at 7am so that I can take the kids out to do something fun for the day, since they've been cooped up all week in the house. We decide to go to the mall. I get into the first store at the mall, and there is a kid's play area. My daughter who is 3 wants to play, he brother who is 7 doesn't. She startes whining, he won't budge. The baby is woken up by his sister's whining, so he starts screaming full blast (hard to fault him, he's only 2 mos old and just got woken up). So I quickly rush everyone to the checkout, and quickly pay. It took us 30 minutes to get to the mall, and in our 10 mins there, I can see this isn't going to work. So as quickly as I can, holding a crying newborn, pushing a stroller, and trying to keep a hand on my 3 yr old, I head for the closest exit. Everyone is staring at me, shooting me dirty looks. One older lady says loudly, "I can't believe she has that poor baby out like that." Other people mutter under their breath because they don't want to hear my children. Guess what, at this moment, I don't either. Did I have any idea that this would happen, no, of course not, or we wouldn't have driven an hour round trip for 10 minutes at the mall. I just wanted to get out of the house for a little while. I'm still in pain from the surgery, and carrying the baby, the shopping bag, and pushing the stroller is not helping, but I don't have anyone to help me right now. We can't afford a sitter, and even if we could, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving a baby that young, plus he still nurses, making it impossible for me to be away from him.

So what should I do? Sit at home until my kids grow up? The thing about being out in public is that we have to share space with others. When I take my kids out, they might overhear people cussing, or teens making out, plenty of things that I would rather not subject them to, but guess what, unless it's happening in my house, I have no say so over what other people do. Children are people, they are not nusinces, and they have just as much right to be in a public place as anyone else does.

Do you think Eclipse will beat Toy Story 3 for the number 1 movie?

ilovearchu

I think Toy Story 3 will stay on top.

Answer
That's doubtful. This is because twilight is rated pg13 and little kids may not be able to see it. Also toy story has been around for many childhoods. Even parents have wanted to see this movie. Finally you need to think of the audiences. For twilight it will be teens, and young couples or adults. While toy story 3 it will be interesting to children-due to having it fun and animated Pulse interesting to many children, teens-due to having toy story 1 & 2 being made during their childhood, adults because their children enjoy it as well as being interested in the story line and finally grandparents would enjoy the good message and spectacular and it would be enjoyed by their grandchildren.

Toy story will be rated higher than eclipse.

Rate Sims 2 Expansion packs?

Chayvon

I want to go get another Sims 2 expansion pack. I already have nightlife. I was going to get university but it seems like some people say its a little boring. Could u please rate ur sims 2 expansin packs and why u rated them that way? Now im really torn between seasons and open for business? i'm buying two so i will pick the two with the best rates. thanks. U dont have to rate nightlife but if u want to u can.

Answer
I would rank Seasons as the top choice, because of the awesome weather effects, gardening, 6 new careers, and lots of little goodies (like being able to store leftovers in the fridge). The clothes and new hairstyles aren't too bad, either. The seasons will affect your Sims every single day of their lives, and unlike OFB, it blends well with normal gameplay. It's incredibly fun, IMHO.

I would rank Nightlife second.

University can get boring, but there are many safe game modifications out there which will speed up the college "years" and make them easier to bear. It adds many new careers which are high-paying, and cool objects like the drum set and the guitar. Plus, the Sims can have two more Wants and can lock two once they graduate.

Pets is nice, but it adds very little other than the pets themselves and all the objects and interactions related to them. If you really, desperately want pets for your Sims, go for this one. It's also kind of glitchy, but you can just d/l the patch.

I wouldn't recommend Open for Business because unless you enjoy having to deal with running businesses with needy employees and demanding customers, it really just doesn't show itself much during regular gameplay (when you're playing families on residential lots). In other words, it's kind of its own little side game. It makes the Sims almost into a "Tycoon"-type game. It does include some cool objects like new kids' toys and robots, but these can only be made if your Sims spend a long time gaining "badges". If you like a challenge, this is a good one to consider.

my daughter is five, what play kitchens do you recommend for her age group?

Momof2

Answer
Cook ân Learn Interactive Kitchen which has interactive foods that work with the kitchen to help your kids learn while using imaginative play.

Step2 also has some nice kitchens in their lifestyle collection depending on how big you want to go try the Party Time Kitchen, Dream Kitchen or the Grand Walk In Kitchen. The Grand was actually one of the top rated toys for kids this holiday up here in Canada. They all are very nice kitchens with plenty of accessories to keep little ones busy and since there are no specific parts needed for interaction you can use any types of kitchen accessories available on the market with them

Could I be a real mentally messed up person who some how manages to pass in college?

If I eventually collapse and become a real nut, is there a way I could put it off until after college so I can at least make a living?
I fit many criteria for numerous disorders

(schizotypal, others)
Oh yes I shall refuse help until my last dying breath (stubborn)

Answer
Hey, not a problem....

Just join a far left Liberal Group then:

A. Talk about things that will get our kids killed fighting a foreign war by making the enemy think that by bad mouthing our politicians, all they have to do is kill a few more Americans and we will cut and run. So far it is working.

B. Claim that a "three eyed furry ice toad" is endangered in a place they "May" find oil on American soil. That way we can buy oil from those that truly want to kill us and fill their bank accounts up so they can buy really neat "Bad ***" toys to kick our butts.

C. Scream that President Bush flew planes into the twin towers and placed explosives all over the buildings to ensure they would fall down to start "Fake" wars.

Yep, you scream and claim all that really goofy type of stuff, and you can be crazier than a loon, and 50% of the American population will believe YOU are totally sane...... Not to mention you can probibley get some kind of grant to get a free college education to boot! Then you could get a really top rated TV talk show.... like Rosie's.....

The fact that you are worried about your "Phychological being", means that there is great hope that you are not as bad as you feel, and close to being as normal as the other 50% of us. Go talk with a Priest, Doctor or close friend may be the boost that you need.

Good Luck

What kind of home do you have - house, bungalow, flat, apartment, mansion?

Answer
This is our 3rd Home: 1st was 4 Bedroom, 1 1/2 Bath Split Foyer. Wife thought too far to commute so we moved closer in 2nd Home was Rambler: 4 Bedrooms,3 Baths and Garage became too small with 2 kids leaving trail of toys everywhere...in fact my daughter's nickname is BEA <= Hurricane Bea and we were fortunate to buy a large oversized colonial about 2 miles away still close in with double car garage, main floor library. Oversized Kitchen is center of our home with high ceilings etc and Family Room sits behind garage. 3 Levels all together and huge master bedroom behind garage with 2 attics. Actually house is so big we had to pay to have 2nd HVAC unit installed in attic bec upstairs level was too uncomfortable and wife couldn't see us suffering considering value of our monster home.

We live in cluster of 25 colonials between Top rated High School and Public Library right on the bus line and within walking distance to shopping center and bank..

Just Blessed and Enjoy Helping Others!
