for my 16th bday i want to do something special for someone else?

ill be turning 16 this fall. i know that most girls have a huge party or something like that, but i dont want to have a party, i would really like to do something for kids who dont have anything. does any one have any ideas? i was thinking about maybe going to an orphanage somewhere and giving the kids toys. i live close to new york city (if that will help at all) thanks so much.

Well find a homeless shelter around ur town or u can send money to starving kids in africa

I have 4 grandchildren and my daughter-in-law hates the toys that make noise. So she never puts the batteries in. I've learned to buy toys that don't make noise or keep the ones that do at my house for the kids to enjoy when they visit!
