You need to figure out a way to keep them under control.. easier said then done but completely possible.. First off maybe use a positive reward system.. stickers for the kids that behave.. so many stickers equals something special or somthing from the prize bag (buys stuff from the doller tree.. or similae store).
And you need to make a rule chart.. so the kids no clearly what the rules are.. if anyone breaks the rules they are punished.. finding the punishment will have to do with what your kids like the most.. then take it away.. or if they hate time out.. use a time out.. But you have to be consistant.. even if your tired and don't want to deal with it.. you have to be up there hineys about there behavior.. I do understand.. i have a 8 year old thats difficult.. i have to be on him constantly..
Nip this behavior in the butt before they get any older..
Also try and have a organized life.. set schedules.. make sure there bed times are set in stone and they are getting enough rest at night..
hopefully some of these ideas will help you..
goodluck

Bad idea? Toy Story 3 with 2 kids under 2?
ME
Tomorrow we are taking the kids on a trip to a kids museum... they also have a IMAX which is playing Toy Story 3 as well. We were thinking since we are there & REALLY want to see the movie... Maybe we'd go tomorrow with the kids. Is this a bad idea.... I doubt our son will sit through it (6 months) but I'm positive our daughter (18 months) will like it. It'll be her first trip to the movie theaters. If they don't like it... we will leave. Its part of the museum, so we figure its worth the "try". What do you think... Bad idea?
Yeah, if they don't like it we will leave... Its part of the museum so we figured "its worth a try"... we are kind of "expecting" to have to leave early. But figured we could try it anyway.
Answer
I would try it but just keep in mind that you might not be able to see the whole movie! Also, two things I've learned is 1. sit on the outside aisle which is on the door entrance side (just in case your 6 month old needs some time outside the theater), skip the previews, and snacks are always helpful. Have fun!
