â¢There are two things you can and should give your child: roots and wings.

â¢Eliminate toy clutter. Children of all ages will play more creatively and independently with five toys than they will with 50.... Fewer toys allow a child to focus more effectively.... [John Rosemond in âLiving With Childrenâ 2011]

â¢If you truly love your children, give them more time than anything else. Your time is really all you have that is genuinely yours to give. {Alema Pequoia}

â¢Remember: What you do, what you say, how you listen, what you allow to happen in your family and household is the attitude and behavior you are modeling for your children that they will absorb and apply to their own lives in the future. {Alema Pequoia}

Q. Im 13 and am visiting Disneyland, Anheim for the first time in early May, 2011. We will be there probably from just after open to just beofre close. I was just wondering in your opinion what are the best rides, shows and attractions there? And is California Park good?

Thank you for all your answers!

Answer
if you like fast rides forsure go on space mountain, it is sooo much fun one of the bests.
thunder mountain is one of my favorite rides as well. (its a rollercoaster type ride) and the log ride.
alot of people like the madderhorn, not one of my favorites. its really crazy like whip lash , super short and long lines. and always seems to break down.

for attraction type rides pirates of the carribean, the haunted mansion, indian jones, jungle cruise, the finding nemo ride, space tours are all really cool.

for little kiddy rides, the alice and wounderland ride is one of my favs. also winnie the pooh ride, peter pan, story book land are all really good too. I cant think of alot of little kid ones cause I dont really go on them, but if you think of your favorite disney movie Im sure they have a ride for it.

also they have this really cool thing my the space mountain ride thats called disney inventions or something its a attraction thats in the big spinny building anyway its like this super amazing future house thats totally coool and has all these other cool future things. definatly go in that !!!

In my opinion I like california adventure alot more than disney, its alot less "kiddy"
its really cool because they have different parts of it and each part is a different part of california.
they have "paradise pier" which is like totally southern california beachy type area which is awsome and they have a couple roller coasters and arcade games and stuff
they also have like a northern california area thats more woods like that has the bear rapids which is super fun but prepar to get soaked ! and they have hiking trails over in that part too.
then they have a plane area which has a ride called soaring over california which you HAVE to go on its so coool, it feels like you or soarung over california.
and they have a really cute part of california adventure which is "bugs land" which is a bugs life themed area and its adorbaleee ! they have cute little kiddy rides that are cutee and fun and its decoriated AMAZING !
they also have a winery area which is cool for parents
and my FAVE part of california adventure is hollywood where they have a bunch of cool shows and the tower of terror rides which is one of the best rides !!!
and the hollywood part actually looks totally like hollywood and great for taking pictures
they have a really good roller coaster in paradise pier called :"screamin" which is sooo fun and fast !!
and they have a tortilla factory that you gotta go in cause they give you fresh baked tortillas samples and they have a bread factory too wear you can get bread samples.
hmm there are like so many cool things in california adventure.
they have a ride thats toy story and you play games while your on the ride and its really cooool.
and at night they have this AMAZING show called world of color and its at night and its superr coool.

they're alot of fun things to do there,
I suggest if you are going to both parks go to california adventure first cause it closes early
then head to disney which is open later.
and if you are looking for a good place for lunch or dinner they have a rainforest cafe in downtown disney which is super cool.
and they have really good pizza at both disney and california adventure.

there is probably a million things I forgot, but thats just some stuff
you will have such a good time ! have fun :D
