We are going in January 2009 and would like to know everything we need to know before going. Thank you!
Answer
We have been there just this last year from Jan 2-8th of 09. We had a blast. Whatch wanna know?
We stayed at villa 113. They have free ice cream, for everyone from 8am-9pm. Free "homemade" pizza from 4:30pm-midnight.
The childrens bedrooms have a huge hot tub in them. Theres 3 pools, 1 was under construction while we were there though. The pools arnt deep, they only go to 4 feet.
The kids get freebrand new toys, & dvds everyday (my son left there with 30 dvds).
They give the kids a star totake to the castle, & they put it up on the celiing for them. They get a pillow to take home from the bobble machine.
They even let you borrow a dvd camcorder to film your trip, & they in turn will put it on a dvd for you to watch.
They have horseback rides on mini ponies, Disney & Nicloldeon characters come to visit (Make sure to take a autograph book for the children)
The meals are free from the gingerbread house. Breakfast, lunch, & dinner that is.
They even have a huge elm tree named elmer, that has a huge face in it, & snores.
The trash cans talk to you. Train rides around the village, a little golf course, and a billard room type place that has a pool table, some games, air hockey, & a piano.
I hope this helps you out. Have a ton of fun, & make new memmories too, take lots of pics, we did & are very happy we did too.

What should I prepare to be able to take care of a newborn (expecting Oct 2009) and a 2.5 yrs toddler girl?

If you have more than one kid, how can you manager having them both? Thank you.
Answer
I have two toddlers. They were born 12 months and 4 days apart. What we did was make sure we included the older one in everything possible that had to do with the baby. We let him go to the ultrasound, and to the hospital. He was in the waiting room with grandparents while I was in labor but he was brought back in at my request when my daughter was about 2 minutes old! He bonded to her immediately, giving her kisses, when he hadn't even started giving my husband and I kisses yet! Then we let him pick out her clothes and get us bibs and burp clothes and stuff. He would help hold her bottle while I was feeding her. We would put her in her bouncy chair on the floor and let him play with her when she was only a couple weeks old (with me or Daddy sitting right next to them of course!). We never treated our son any difference, or paid any less attention to him so that way he never went through the jealousy thing. They are 33 months and 21 months old now and they are best friends! Neither one has ever felt jealous and they play great together and love each other so much! The best advice I can give you is to let your daughter help whenever possible and include her in everything to do with the baby. Maybe even let her pick out the outfit baby will come home in, and let her pick out a special toy for the baby that she will play with him/her with.
