Summer activities for toddlers?

kristen

I am going to be a nanny for 3 small kids ages one and two. What are some fun activities we can do this summer, please help I really want to do a good job it's a great family I get to work for.

Answer
playing with shapes and colors, sing songs!, little people toys, see and say toys, mickey mouse clubhouse and toy story are awesome, but monitor all for scenes which could be scary, also gerber snack foods help...never leave children alone at that age (not being preachy, just a mom) ;)

Song suggestions for toddler ballet class?

BreezeGirl

I am teaching a ballet class to two and three year olds this summer, and at the end of the session they will perform a short routine for their families. I need suggestions for songs that are preferably 'tear-jerker' songs that leave the parents saying 'aww' or very active ones that will keep the kids excited.

My four to six year old class will be dancing to "I Love You This Big" by Scotty McCrerry for ballet and "Splish Splash I was taking a bath" by Sesame Street.

Also, I will have a boy in the class, so I need to avoid princess songs.

Answer
Disney songs- Toy Story songs, The Lion King, some thing popular but innocent- anything like that. Hope this helps
