I would like to make some money because all the paper rounds in my area are being done, and so I would like make some money. I have looked into survey sites but some look too risky; CashCrate posted cheques in US dollars an I am from the UK. Is there and legitimate survey sites, and/or any other ways to make money over the web.
Thanks for the honest advice guys

Answer
Hey, even 13 year lods have the right to make money! I know I did.. Heck, I used to be a paper boy, collect coke bottles, mow lawns, wash cars, and even remove poison oak out of little old ladies yards in Carmel because I did not catch it. I also invented all kinds of cool little toys from crossbows made from Street Sweeper brush things to lock picks.. And.. I sold em to other kids...

Also, do NOT let dumb adults EVER tell you can't do something. It is the death of creativity because one day you might live right down to their expectations! Got it? Because you ask such a question tells me you are a "Go Getter" so, my young friend keep at it! Inventive ideas are ALWAYS sold on the web.. Start learning about WordPress.. The stuff you mention is kind of scammy... I know you are from the UK but did you ever hear of the Ginsu Knife guy? The guy who you see on TV showing all kinds of silly inventions?

This guy took some crazy ideas he had and made millions with them. He is an inventive kind of guy and makes up crazy names we all can remember and shows you how to market them.. I think it is pretty nice! Take a look here.. http://bit.ly/GinsuKnifeGuy You may recognize many of his products even in the UK!

If you are the inventive type take a look at the top 10 reasons to file a Provisional Patent Application please watch the second video in this blog.

Is it possible to amplify the signal in a kids walkie talkie?

iBAMF

Like my friends and I were thinking of buying walkie talkie wrist watches and messing with them to amplify the signal to around a 3-5km radius. Is this possible or am I just crazy?

Answer
Some wrist watch walkie talkies claim 2.5 miles http://www.menkind.co.uk/gifts-gadgets-c112/outdoor-fun-c223/outdoor-toys-c30/moontalk-walkie-talkie-wrist-watches-p111227 In reality in a built up area that's not likely and line of site (colloquially known as "here's me, here's my mate") is more likely.

To increase the power is not a practical proposition without increasing the size of the unit. Even changing the antenna, which would make a difference, would mean you were walking around with an 18cm (7 inch) wire or telescopic antenna poking out the the watch which is neither safe nor stylish. Of course you could run an RG214 cable up your arm and have the antenna attached to the top of a helmet provided you didn't mind looking a bit crazy.
