I am wanting to make ornaments with those clear glass ornaments for family and friends. I need help finding items that I can put inside the ornaments for each person. I need to make two ornaments for my children's teachers, two ornaments for two babies, one for my husband(Hunting), one for a good friend, one for a grandmother(loves nativities) one for a grandfather(loves NASCAR and cooking) on for a brother in law ( NASCAR) one for a sister in law nine for library co workers and two for our new dogs. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

....Do you want to buy the small items to put in the glass ornaments, or do you want to make them?
....And not sure if the glass ball ornaments you're asking about have wide openings (or even open in halves like the older plastic ones), or just have small openings (at top) so that all the pieces would have to fit through that small opening (poured, rolled, pushed, or just small enough, etc)?

For buying tiny items, you could look at places like:
...baking and cake supply stores should have all kinds of little things to put on cakes
...party stores will also have lots of little things, cheap
...craft stores for the small items sold at Christmas, etc, for earrings or other jewelry (or regular jewelry "charms", items for tiny xmas trees or xmas villages--including nativities), little things for wedding decorations/etc or for garlands/artificial greenery decorations, or in the baking aisle, etc.
...item-buttons from fabric stores, etc.
...toy stores for tiny accessories for dolls or action figures, or for tiny cars, etc.
For making any of the items yourself, you could use polymer clay or an air-dry clay (especially bread clay since you're making miniatures and want the finest detail)**. Of course you could always just find or print out pics or cartoons*** of things like car racing, dogs, books, etc, and perhaps gluestick them to pieces of cardstock that you could then gently roll (around a pencil or marker) to insert in a small hole.

What is your 7-9 month old favorite toy?

My daughter will be 7 months at xmas and I want to get her a toy. She doesn't really have many. She does have an exersaucer already and a swing (that she HATES) and bumbo chair. Any other ideas?

My son loved this when he was little and my daughter now loves it - she'll be 9 months old in a few days. It's the LeapFrog Learn & Groove musical Table, costs about $40 and it has been great for both of my kids. They even have one at the pediatricians office. My daughter will crawl over to it and pull herself up and walk around it while holding on, she gets the music going and dances. It has a little pretend book at the top and when you flip the page it goes from music to learning. Teaches numbers, songs, alphabet, opposites, colors - it will keep her interest for a long time.
My son loved this when he was little and my daughter now loves it - she'll be 9 months old in a few days.
