whats your toddler's favorite toy and how old are they?
my 17 month old son loves his cars espically his thomas trains
Answer
My almost 3 year old son's favorite toy is his dump truck. He loves to put things in it, push it around, then dump everything out. My 16 month old stepson and 13 month old daughter also really love any big toy cars or trucks that they can push around, especially a little toy car we have that has a 'popper' in it. They also love their toy shopping cart and baby stroller. Anything they can push around! My favorite toys for them are anything that can still be used without all the parts, or something that doesn't have 'parts'. Classic wooden blocks, their wooden train set, people and animal figurines... anything they can play with creatively and doesn't play by itself, if you know what I mean?

Tips and Ideas for organizing toddler toys?

My two year old has hundreds of toys, that is not an exageration, i have sent alot of toys to his grandparents houses but there are still way too many, now we are expecting another baby and they will have to share a room, i have no idea what to do with all of these toys, i have taken out the baby toys and put them away. Help I am horrible at organizing!

Start by trashing any broken toys. Set aside a box for a yard sale or giving to Goodwill of toys that are no longer played with (never a big hit), that are missing pieces, duplicates or just to make room. Next buy some large rubber maid containers (preferably see through). Examples: my son has one for cars, ne for trains/tracks, balls, blocks etc... Small ones work for things like flash cards, animal figurines and other small objects. Same applies to stuffed animals. They can easily over run a house! :D Place a few on the bed and the others in a net on the wall or on a chain with clasp from the ceiling. If they have meaning and are no longer played with place in a keepsake box and put in the attic or basement.
