Why do so many images on toys have teenagers on them?
Julian
I'm talking about the cardboard packaging and the pictures on them. Whenever I walk down a toy aisle (which is remarkably rare considering my age) there are large amounts of images of teenagers on toys that only kids really seem to play with, like those "Beyblade" things. What's with that?
Answer
For marketing it's the best of both worlds. I shows little kids that emulate older kids that the older kids like this so will you. It also shows teenagers that fellow teenagers like this toy/game so should you.
