Hi. I'm thinking about buying my 13 year old boy a fun electric ride on toy for Christmas. What would you guys recommend? I'd like it to have a rechargable battery, something safe, and fun. We live in New Jersey so can you also state what the rules are here? Thanks
Answer
It's not electric but my kids *LOVE* their Power Wing. It's safe, fun and simple to learn how to ride and do tricks.

What was this riding toy called?
keepontruc
It was a large round plastic wheel that a kid sat in and powered it by hand with handles on the big wheels on each side. It could move in all directiions, depending on how the kid maneuvered the wheels with his hands. I thought it was called a moon wheel, but not sure. This would be from the mid-70's. I think it was orange with black wheels.
It was a round wheel with a seat in the middle. There were large wheels on each side of the seat. The side wheels had handles to turn them and make the toy go in any direction, and even spin around. I think it was called a "moon wheel". This was not the Big Wheel trike; it was an entirely different type of riding toy.
