What do you think about adults living like they are in their teens?

Friscat

These are people in their 30s, 40s, etc but are still living like as if they are in their teens. They dress in young, hip, ragged fashion, go for the current hype tech gadgets (gaming consoles, latest mobile, hot bikes/autos), value figurines, they go cruising the streets and clubs late nights, they date as in teen relations, basically, they do things normally associate with the teens. Are such lifestyle common and looks immature? Will these people get over this phase?

Answer
Wow, this question is messed up. Did you grow up in the 1950's? The days when people start families in their early twenties and settle down to a life of raising kids until they're old enough to play bingo and shuffleboard at an AARP social club are long past. People wait longer to have kids or don't have them at all. There are fewer traditional marriages and more separations and unorthodox relationships. These types of social changes enable more free time to people at an older age than previously and the things you describe are not 'teen things', they are simply fun things that you need time & money for.

People in their 30s, 40s and even 50s today grew up playing video games, listening to music their parents hated and dressing how they liked. You think they should reach some arbitrary age and suddenly conform to your idea of what they should be doing? This is not a 'phase', it's a choice, just as it is for teens.

I will agree that some older people wear clothes that are not the best choice for them, but I've seen plenty of size 16 teens stuffing their fat into size 10 pants and the same applies. If you've got cottage cheese thighs you should say no to any lightweight fabrics, regardless of age.

I hope when I'm older I don't stop having fun or start acting like my parents just because the next generation wants me to. You need to re-evaluate your teen associations!

What if all the high school kids in the world. . . had all of their tech gadgets and cellphones and video games taken away for one week? What would happen to the world?

Answer
It's too bad most high school kids have never played a real video game, and don't have any high-tech stuff.

How does your 3 year old act with other children and how do you handle disciplining in public?

-How does your 2-3 year old act around other kids?
-Are they good sharers or grab toys a lot?
-Do they get loud or hyper or stay calm and play quietly?
-Do you notice they change around other children in any way?
-When do you interfere with toddler spats, and what do you do when you have to discipline your child around other children and parents?

Answer
My daughter was initially very shy around kids. She had a problem with sharing and getting along with them too because she is used to being alone. When I started her with preschool, she began to loosen up and got along with other kids. She has a constant playmate and she's really very hyper when she's around her. But with other kids, she gets really shy and tends to behave.

I don't usually interfere with their spats for as long as they are not hurting each other. But if my daughter misbehaves, I don't get angry at her when there's a lot of people around because it will embarrass her. I give out warnings and set limits in public but I usually do the disciplining when it's just the two of us.

How do I explain to my neighbors that any time my 3 yr old daughter plays outside, it's not an open invitation?

.Brian T

For them to let their 3 & 4 year olds to come over unsupervised and steel my kids toys? I've tried explaining to them the difference between keeping an eye on my good kid, and suddenly having two more little heathens to look after. The best I get from them is after their kids have been over for about a half hour, they'll yell over if it's ok.
I often have to let them know when their kids are are riding their big wheels down the road.

Answer
I have no answer for this, other than to say, that's what you get for having kids. You get what you give, buddy.

I am looking for some toys that will keep my kids entertained and will last a long time. For kids ages 5-8. I am tired of buying my kids toys only to have them broken or torn up the same day. I am looking for toys that can really last and are fun. Any suggestions welcome!

Answer
I bought my little brothers Snap Circuits and they loved it (it can also be for girls). I got this one because it's pretty stimulating and versatile. Their reviews on Amazon are just unbelievable too, I've never seen so many reviews and still have a 5/5 stars... The only thing though, is that you have to teach your kids to make sure to put things away properly, which can be a good exercise for them for their skills anyway.

Another game that is super popular is the Qwirkle Board Game. Since you have a couple of kids, it's a great board game for everyone to partake in. May be it gets a little challenging for the younger ones but it's a great stimulating game that will help your kids' critical thinking and analytical skills (just like the circuits game). On top of that, the parts of this game are pretty durable.

Another of the newer games out there that's pretty popular among people of all ages is the Angry Birds game. It's just like the one you play on your phone but you get to set it up so it's a lot more fun. This one also has amazing reviews.

Do you have plans to travel? To meet new people? Maybe your plan is to apply yourself more to your studies or give up an addiction.
Whatever your intentions are for 2011, I'd love to hear them!

Answer
This New Year, I resolve to be the type of person that Mema (my grandma who died in May) would want me to be. Even though she can’t give me a pat on the back or say, “Good job, Heather!” I still want to make her proud. And I think that doing this is even more special because of the fact that she’s gone.
I resolve to get involved with the Surfrider Foundation by cleaning up the beaches, attending meetings, and raising awareness-Mema always loved the beach.
I resolve to stop procrastinating. How would Mema have ever gotten anything done-like putting together shoeboxes full of toys for kids overseas- by procrastinating? I have been a procrastinator for many years, and I hope to change that in 2011.
I resolve to try my hardest in whatever I do. That includes school, tennis, surfing, etc. Mema would want to see me do well in everything I do.
No matter what I do this year, no matter what happens, no matter what gets in my way, I just want the end result to be that Mema is proud of me. And I know she will be.

What does ergonomics & anthropometrics mean in product design?

Jagex T

For my product design coursework we are designing a new childerens toy and i need to research ergonomics & anthropometrics for kids what does it mean? Please?

Thanks - 10 points for best answer!!

Answer
ergonomic would be its safety and comfort to the human body and its usability. For children, something like size would need to be considered as you won't want the parts to be swallowed. Here is some info on it:
http://www.wisegeek.com/what-is-ergonomic-design.htm

anthropometric- from what I have read, since this is designed for children hand grip of the toy based on children hand size is important
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthropometry

you could probably ask for more info here: http://www.productdesignforums.com/topic/2729-ergonomics-anthropometric-data/

Q. I have a hard time parting with old keepsakes. I have two bins full of beanie babies from when I was a kid. A bin full of hot wheels cars, a bin full of dinosaur and horse toys..... I am 21 years old and live with my fiance in a small apartment now. What do I do??!! I don't want to get rid of everything from my child hood, but part of me thinks that maybe keeping this stuff is overdone?? What should I do?

Answer
No, don't get rid of them. You will regret it. Save them for any future kids that you may have. Can you store them at your parents house. Or get some small bins that will fit under a bed.

Carnival game idea using plastic easter eggs?

pengworm

I am in charge of the kids activities for our community festival. I'm looking for an idea for a carnival game to use a bunch of leftover plastic easter eggs I have. Any ideas? The only thing I've seen so far is caleed "dinosaur dig"filling the eggs with some sort of dinosaur toy and hiding them in sand. I'm not really liking the dinosaur idea and was thinking something with a chicken theme (and without the sand) would be cuter. Any ideas?

Answer
Something similar to bobbing for apples.

My 7 year old dog keeps growling at our new puppy every time she comes near him. What can I do?

Kathy

The 7 yr old dog is a boy and the puppy is a girl. It's been 3 days and it hasn't gotten any better. Once he showed his teeth to her when he had a toy but I took it away after that. I've been giving him lots of attention and feeding him first, letting him out first to let him know he's still top dog. What else can I do?

Answer
This is perfectly natural behaviour from your 7 year old. After all, the puppy has come to invade your home and his space and he is just being bugged by the new pup.

We have had 2 puppies in our house in the past 2 years with older dogs in the house and we found that the best thing we bought was a playpen to put the pup into. We have an octagonal steel one that has a door in it so it's easy for us to get in and out to clean up spills, fill the water bowl or put down food. Make sure your pup's little bed is in there too.
We bought one of these waterproof sheets that you use with kids who bed wet and put that down on the floor under the play pen. It makes cleaning up dog messes so quick and easy.

Putting the pup in the playpen for a few hours each day (break it up into no more than 1 hr lots) will give your older dog a break but they can still make contact with each other through the bars which is what my dogs did. Just make sure the play pen is put somewhere where the pup can see you most of the time.

Never take your older dogs toys away. They are his. If the puppy wants to grab them then take the puppy away while you are playing with the older dog.

Other than that you seem to be doing all the right things.

Give it time. The new pup needs to settle in and the other dogs nose will be out of joint for a while yet. Your older dog will growl and nip and bare his teeth a lot but he shouldn't cause any serious harm to the pup.
You will probably find that the older dog will start playing chase with the younger pup after a few months and hopefully they will end up being the best of friends.

One little tip is to teach the puppy the 'leave' command over the next few months so when the pup is being a real pain in the butt then you can tell it to leave the older dog alone so that the older dog doesn't have to growl and bite the pup all the time because it does get stressful for older dogs when they always have a little pup wanting to play all the time.

Best of luck with your extended family!

Babysitting ideas for 4 kids over the weekend?

LissB

I need babysitting ideas for a 10 year old boy, 8 year old girl, 7 year old girl and a 3 year old girl . for the weekend. I have babysat before but only for like a couple hours. I am babysitting with my 19 year old sister but she isn't very creative:). So i just want some ideas.
Thanks!

Answer
We had a big party this weekend and hired sitters and this is what all they entertained the kids with:

Get a little baby pool and fill it with bubbles and then drop in all manner of bubble toys, wands, even a hula hoop for giant bubbles.

Sidewalk chalk is always a classic - who doesn't love to draw?

Silly string fights are super fun - the adults at the party even got in on this one - but I would do it outside - can make a super huge mess inside.

Hunt at the education store for little crafts the kids can make - magnets, bookmarks, picture frames, etc. Even Wal-Mart has the kits in the craft section.

Those are just a few off the top of my head. HTH!

Any tips on travelling with a toddler on long flights?

top kids toys under 5 image

Socrates

I have a long journey planned on my next vacation with my 1.5 year old. A fourteen hour flight followed by layover and then a 6-7 hour. We did not opt for an exclusive seat for him either. Any tips?

Answer
Here are a couple of tips from our own experience:

1. most importantly: call the airline and try to get a bassinette, and at least one seat next to it(that's the crib that attaches to the wall in front of the bulk head seats). the bassinette itself will probably be too small for your child to actually sleep in, but will hold all the extra stuff that comes along with a toddler. moreover, the extra leg room will give your toddler more space to play that is NOT your lap or the aisle...
note: bulk head seats are usually booked first because there's more leg room there, but parents with infants on-lap (younger than 2 years) have priority to these seats on most airlines. if you can't book the seat in advance, don't dispair - you can still get it upon check in: come in early and insist on it!
2. try to keep the child's routine as close to normal as possible. keep meal times and nap times as close as you can to your "home time". bring small packs of favorite foods and snacks with you, as plane food is not likely to top your kids list... you can heat up baby food by putting the container in a small cup filled with a half-inch to an inch of boiling water and stirring the contents. "Gerber" containers fit perfectly, or you could use the small, round, 4-oz disposable plastic containers (like "Glad" or such) which also fit in the coffee cups provided on airplanes.
3. of course, if your child has a favorite toy, stuffed animal, blankie etc., have it with you on board.
4. get a bunch of new, real-cheap little toys that you wouldn't mind losing / throwing away by the end of the trip. introduce a new one every hour or so -- it'll buy you precious time! i'd put under this category also some little arts & crafts items, like stickers and crayons.
5. have at least two full changes of baby clothes and lots of extra diapers with you, as well as a small "baby-bath travel kit", just in case your layover gets extended, your suitecases go astray, and so on... i'd also take an extra shirt for mom and dad, for any unfortunate accidents.
6. on the plane, don't be shy - let baby run up and down the isles. fighting it won't help anyway, and the excersize is good for you both ;-) plus, the more energy they spend, the more likely they are to fall asleep at some point...
7. talk to your pediatritian about baby-safe antihistamines - a small dosage may be all the help baby needs to get drowsy and sleep better when they're already over-tired, but the strange environment won't let them fall asleep...
8. take a deep breath, and remind yourself that, as hard as this one day may be, it's only one day of travel, and it, too, shall pass!

good luck! :)

how can i stop my kitten climbing the christmas tree?

nfang74

I have a 8 weeks old kitten, very playful. She has been climbing the christmas tree all the way to the top and broken 4-5 ornaments already. I took her down, spanked her and told her but this doesn't work so far. And now, she sees this whole action as a "play" for her. She would run to the tree, climbed it and waited for me or my kids to yell at her and took her down.

Answer
My cat used to do the dame thing. We got a spray bottle and I would dowse her everytime she got near the tree. Now that she has kittens, they like to play with the bulbs. I did the same thing with them. Cats can't stand the pray bottle, so when they see it, they run. Now when they go near it, they only lay under it.

You can't spank cats, like you can a dog. A dog sees it as punishment, especially when the "pack leader" does it. But when you do it to a cat, she sees the "petter" playing. Cats are so stubborn, that's why people think they're stupid. Cats CHOOSE what they want to learn. And the way you have to reach into the tree looks more like play time, then punishment.

So get the spray bottle and squirt her, at least, until she's out of the tree. And when she gets near it, squirt her again. She won't like the water, so she'll eventually get the hint. You could also take a toy that could hang and tie it onto something on the opposite side of the room. That way, she'll be distracted by the new dangling toy, and not worry about the tree.

Caging your cat will only tell her that when she wants to play, she's going to be caged. Animals can't comprehend ''you can play with this, but not that''. If they want to play with something, and they get caged, they'll stop playing.

Do you allow neighbor kids to play at your house EVERY day?

maria

We have a neighbor boy who, as soon as he gets home from day care, he is 6 and in daycare for the summer, comes over to our house and knocks on the door. And wants to play in our yard. He doesn't have a swing set or other outside toys. Our kids have tons. He is kind of a brat and sometimes the kids don't really feel like playing. Do you have similar issues? What is your tactful way of saying no?

Answer
I have a neighbor like this. Well, he has plenty of toys at his house... but he's the 4th child, with only older sisters, and I think he's bored alot, lol. Anyways, almost every day after school he's ringing our doorbell. Sometimes my son likes playing with him, other times either him or I (lol) are not in the mood to have him over. I just bluntly tell him we can't play now, and to go home.

I had asked a similar question a while ago about how to deal with my neighbor, and I got some really good suggestions from people - one I liked was telling the boy that if the garage door is open, its ok to come over and play, and if its closed, we can't play. Or encouraging him to call first.

Good luck!!

How do you raise a child to be indifferent to Santa?

best kids toys in india

best kids toys in india image

Jamie's Mo

As in, neither "believes" nor "disbelieves." My mom never forced Santa on us, I don't agree with telling my son an old fat guy breaks into and enters millions of homes and is judgemental about who's "naughty or nice."

I grew up just fine knowing Santa wasn't real. So don't bother telling me I'm going to "ruin his childhood and destroy Christmas for him." Christmas isn't about how many toys you get, its about family and helping others IMO.

Answer
My daughter has known that there was no Santa since last Christmas, when she was 4,almost 5. She learned all about him from school, which sometimes bugs me since they teach them alot of nonsense, and beliefs i dont agree on. Like referring to the Native Americans as Indians. I had to explain to my daughter that you dont call them Indians, that Indians live in India. Anyways, about Santa. She came home and told me all about Santa. I explained to her that there is no Santa, that i(a single mom) am the one that goes out and gets her all her presents. She didnt have a problem with the idea whatsoever, and i think it made her opening her presents that much more gratifying for her and for me. After opening all her presents, she would told me, "Thank you mommy for getting me all these presents, i loved them all, and i love you so much!" Why give a fictional fat man all the credit? A couple days ago i babysat, and my daughter(now almost6) was talking to her friend(8yrs old) about Xmas. Her friend was telling my daughter about Santa, and my daughter simply told her that he wasnt real. Of course the other girl got angry and started debating, and my daughter didnt fight over it. But when she left, she found it interesting that her friend believed in him, and i told her it was ok that other kids believed in him, as long as she knew the truth.

Now to answer your question, I would bet they do feel a bit jaded
after all these years of hard work, and dedication to their fine craft.

Do you bring toys for your child when you go somewhere?

tgfann

I have a 3 year old daughter and my sister has a 3 year old son. We all went to a christening today and after the church everyone went to a restaurant to eat.

I brought a Dora doll and a travel Aquadoodle for my daughter and my sister brought a little box of plastic building toys for her son. And we didn't see even one other child/parent with a toy, stuffed animal, book, etc.

There were about 9 kids under 5 years old at the restaurant and EVERY one of them fought with our kids for these toys. One woman actually took the Dora doll off of our table and took it back to her table, telling my daughter that her son "really loves Dora and needs to play with it for a few minutes."

I just don't get it. If you're going somewhere with your child and you know you'll be gone for several hours, how can you not bring something for them to play with? Or a coloring book ... something?
Oh, I did go and get it. After she said that to my daughter I was kind of speechless. I just looked at my husband and said, what just happened here? After a few seconds, when that wore off, I went and got it.

Answer
I don't do it every time I go somewhere, but if it were an event like you attend today where the children need to sit still not to disturb others around them,or if I know it's gonna be a long day where they would get restless, then yes I do bring a few things. And that lady you are talking about taking your child's doll...I don't think I could have dealt w/ that!!

My son got a bunch of candy. He also got a stuff animal, toy cars, tops, change.
He also got a Dvd from family.
Also what would you give out if you ran out of candy if you had to give out something?

Answer
My daughter got some candy, play dough, juice boxes, fruit snacks, and even some little trinket toys. We didn't hand out candy because we were out trick or treating as well, but I did buy candy so that my mother and father could hand it out with theirs (they live two houses down). I just bought normal candy, however, I keep play dough, little puzzles, and dollar store toys bought up and they are unopened (for trips and summer activities) so i'd be all set if we were to run out of candy on a night that I was giving it out lol.

Right now we have a baby girl but we know we want at least one more child that could be a boy or girl. The cabinets are espresso, the counter and floor are white marble, and the shower has white subway tile. The hardware is brushed nickle and we want to keep the walls white or really light.
P.S. no green please

Answer
Pick a neutral theme. Not a current cartoon character as they can be to camp and who know what will be cool in 3 or 4 years. Bathrooms for kids should be fun and kid friendly. Gives them something to look at during the dreaded potty training chronicles.

Reachable items are important.
Add a shelf for kid books.
A cubby for bath toys.
A low mirror and a stool that they can sit or climb on.
If finances allow put in a kid height sink.
Decorative wall vinyls are easily removable if you choose to alter the colors.
Bold colors are a plus.

I suggest a plain white or beige. Then add colors in the bath set, towels and rug. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3020/2563732291_aa24737d62.jpg?v=0 http://cdn.24.com/files/Cms/General/d/420/a4654f46fcfa41d5bba9a59357de6b4f.jpg

Personally I would run with a dolphin theme http://www.plumbingsupply.com/images/dolphin-bathroom-faucet-f50-1918bn.jpg https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg9t9zr1zgCA0ZOfRsH4KXEf1zuFwGiGlWZaaxYfvkVmnj3VIZ-tpelu46wS0rnpJhWYUWuSxeYv908TYuS-ie94VwJtBwsVYdCj_kUYKoTJNyPR8mxAkpt7ewEmmkdiyUOGq4syDwx-lZH/s400/8.jpg
Add these in silver http://www.etsy.com/listing/59823866/underwater-sea-life-with-scuba-diver
Then add some bright oranges and yellows in the towels and rugs.

Guinea Pig owners: What are some products that you would like to see made?

Guinea Pig

I am starting an Etsy shop that specializes in guinea pig accessories. Yes, I know there are many people out there already, but they all sell the same stuff! Me and my team are thinking of creative ideas for products to sell. (we're seamstresses) We have already thought of making a guinea pig sling with a cute and comfy holder that is under your arm for the guinea pig. What would you like to see made, or what are some of your every day guinea pig inconveniences that we could over come with a new idea?

Thanks!!!

Answer
In selling market, to make yourself known, you must to:

1) know very well your product's destination (in your case learn all you can about Guinea Pigs)
2) know very well your customer types (see few statistics about Guinea Pigs owners: mens, womans, kids, how hard is to grow a such pet)
3) Guinea Pigs live about 10 years if they are kept in good heart (use that in a fancy way to convince you customers that you products may extend the life and well being of their pets.
4) know your competition, and learn from their (also from their mistakes)
5) be innovative and original (if you have already some guinea pig accessories, you can tell yourself how can be made better with less money). You can try some homemade toys or accessories, or even try to modify what you already have, "in a new light".
6) meet your potential customers on forums and clubs.
7) ask vets opinions about guinea pig's life style and health, and try to tune your products in those directions
8) try to figure that are some types of breeders that may have not a lot time to sher with pets, so they want a "simple" way to keep a pet. Here, imagine a product like aquarium where fish have all they need to live, with minimul interactions.
9) you can include in your products some gadgets to, kids love it, but also can be expensive (here you can check China's way -online- because is cheeper): autofeeders, weather mine-stations, etc.

Do I need to cement into the ground a new wooden swingset?

My husband is building our kids a wooden swingset and he told me that he isn't going to dig into the ground and cement it in as it will be heavy enough. I'm not sure if he's trying to be lazy but feel it would need to be buried and cemented in. The one we're building is at this url: http://www.swing-n-slide.com/timberbilt/pinebluffa.htm except ours will be 16 feet long instead of 12 feet long enabling a few more toys on it for the kids.
Should this be cemented into the ground? Or can it just be anchored in and be secure enough?

Answer
With all due respect to the other 9 answers I have a suggestion.

At the very least the "anchors" to the sing set posts shoule be perpendicular to the posts buried, NOT just concrete added at the same angle to bury the posts in

What kind of toys do you prefer for your toddler, wooden toys or plastic toys?

harold

I'm curious to the type of toy material that parents prefer to buy for their toddlers?

Answer
Hi Harold,

I tend to have a strong liking for wood toys that are of excellent quality, but find that wooden toys are generally limited to blocks, puzzles and some very expensive hand made train sets. Some of the best wooden blocks on the market are Melissa & Doug's Standard Unit Blocks:

http://www.kids-toys-parents-love.com/standard_unit_blocks.html

They have other great wooden puzzle sets, and ImagiPlay makes an earth friendly dinosaur puzzle with non toxic paint: http://www.kids-toys-parents-love.com/Dinosaur_puzzles.html

Most of the toys we get for our kids are plastic, primarily because of selection and availability. They definitely are easier to disinfect and last just as long as the wood toys.

Most of the concerns over quality come from the massive 2007 recall from plastic toys manufactured in China containing lead and cadmium metals!! Besides keeping manufacturing jobs closer to home, companies like Little Tikes, Step 2 and Kid K'Nex keep a tight control over quality and materials. For toddlers, Little Tikes and Step 2 offer a wide variety of American made toys manufactured in Ohio, while Kid K'Nex is a great company for older kids who love creative building.

http://www.kids-toys-parents-love.com/Step_2_Toys.html
http://www.kids-toys-parents-love.com/Kid_KNex.html

So in answering your questions, I prefer wooden toys, but availability and selection keeps our toy collection at 90% plastic and 10% wood.

Hopes this helps, and have fun playing with wood or plastic toys with your toddler!!

I have no college degree. my boyfriend works a weird schedule, so I can't get a day or night time job. what would be a good way to make some money? (legally, no drugs or anything like that)

Answer
Can you write? Magazines are always looking for articles - every library has a copy of Writers Market 2013 in their reference section.

Can you sew? I do a nice side business making cat toys (I also pick and dry the catnip and design my own toys). You can retail or wholesale them.

Can you babysit? In home sitting does not require a visit from the city that in home day cares do (but you have to keep it under 5 kids a day).

Can you drive and have a car? Craig's List has several people offering 'rent a mom/rent a daughter/rent a helper' for people looking for extra help grocery shopping when they're shut ins, or for help painting a room or cleaning up the garage.

Can you walk? Dog walking is roughly $20 per hour, $10 per half hour (you can walk a dog 10 blocks in half an hour).

Whats the difference between transgender and transsexual?

C

isnt transsexual when someone looks, dresses and acts like the opposite gender and transgender when you get a gender change? if not then what is it?

Answer
Transgender is when a person feels as though their mind doesn't match their body, or that they were born in the wrong body (not all transgender people feel this way, though).

Let's say there is a child who was born with male genitals. The child's parents dressed him as a boy, called him a boy and by a boy name, and bought him boy toys. They did this because he has boy genitals, so he should be a boy, right?
Well this kid doesn't feel like a boy, though. This kid feels like a girl, which makes the child a girl, and should be addressed as a she.

Transsexual is a transgender person that plans on or has already began the process of altering their body to help how they feel in their mind. This is called 'transitioning' or as most people know it as, a 'sex change'.
Like if a man who was born in a female body wanted to change their body to become a man on the outside, too. They could take the hormone 'testosterone' and/or get a genital reconstruction surgery or a breast removal surgery.

But not all transgender people are transsexual. Not all of them choose to transition. And that's okay, too.

Sex is between your legs. Gender is between your ears.

I am not sure how well I explained this, so here is a link that explains it a bit better: http://plantingrainbows.wordpress.com/2013/02/05/trans-101-up-goer-five-style/
