Is there a way to avoid the black stuff inside bath toys?

You know the toys were you can squeeze the water out of? Almost every toy we have spews black bacteria type stuff out among the water. It's gross. After the kids' bath I always try to empty the toys water out so it doesn't fester there but still, everytime there is the same junk. Any simple cleaning tips on that?

Please don't use Chlorine Bleach! Chlorine is a toxic substance, and so are the by-products of Chlorine. I would recommend trying a powder type bleach (like Oxy Clean). Suck up some mixed in solution and shake. Squeeze out as much as you can and rinse. After each bath, try to squeeze out all of the water you can. You should only have to use the Oxy once a week or so. Here is a link about some of the concerns of Chlorine Bleach. Good Luck!

What bath toy would you recommend for a 2 year old?

Lately my son is getting bored in the bath and doesn't want to stay in very long at all...I am looking for something new to entertain him but am not sure what to get. He already has some bath toys that squirt water.... I don't want something too babyish...what would you recommend for a 2 year old, maybe something educational?

I think the color bubbles and water paint are a great idea. This may change a lot of you parents minds about plastic toys and squirts toys in the tub. The today show did a special about toys in the tubs. They should the kids in the tub playing with their own toys from home. Each kids was shown putting the toys in their mouth and having a good time. They ran some test on th toys and they were covered in germs. It gets worse, they cut the toys open and it was evey worse. So the squirt toys are no good. It is impossible to get all of those germs out. The number one germ found in the toys were fecal bacteria.

He likes to bring up the "fact" that every time anyone opposes him it's racism.

I have 4 neices/nephews from 3 to 10. Where's a good place to get ideas for gifts for Christmas? And is it better to buy online or fight the lines of Black Friday?

As far as online vs black friday, I personally shop online. One, I don't like to get up early. Two, I don't like being trampled by people trying to get the 3 TVs for the special price. And Three, you will usually find bargains just as good or nearly as good online if you keep your eyes open.

Now, before you make fun of me for even asking this, I of course know there isn't such a thing (my parents never even raised me to believe there was). But, mathematically speaking, how long do you think it would take such a person to deliver presents to children ONLY in America. Seeing as there is about 73.7 MILLION children ages 0-17 in america in 2012, and estimating that there are 2.5 children per household. what do you think?
and logical answers please! i just really want to see the mathematical version of the answer, not just magic :]

Well, what do you think...twenty minutes per household with kids? According to your statistics there should be about 29.48 million households with kids. So. 29.48 million times 20....589.6 million minutes total. That works out to 9,826,666 hours and twenty minutes, or 409,444.44 days, or about 1121 years. (But there are of course numerous factors I did not account for...traffic, weather, does Santa need to do more than one trip because all the toys do not fit in the sled at once...?)

Where can I get a HUGE christmas catalog for 2012?

I remember my dad always got this HUGE catalog in the mail every winter, it had all kinds of toys for kids. My dad has passed away and I can't think of what it was called. But I loved it. Please help! I'd like to be on the mailing list again for my kids!
